The film production was largely financed by the sailing team’s sponsors. The director (WECAMZ) explained the challenge and his artistic aspirations for the elaborate documentary as follows: “The sailing audience is not very large. It is a challenge to make the story of a young, ambitious team and our sport interesting for the mainstream. We want to redefine the elitist sport and motivate young people to build independent teams.”
